Chr. Hansen is a multinational enterprise based in Denmark. It produces and supplies food culture and enzymes used in the food industries, pharmaceuticals and agricultural products. Hansen is involved in different genetic analysis, and before liquid handling automation they did not have a consistent data and used to make a lot of errors. It took them two weeks to get answers from the string which is so different with liquid handling automation that takes three days. It was a significant transformation for the company’s production sector. According to the employee, it doubled the output per day which is more beneficial and has a more consistent data.

Robert Thikoll is the Vice President of Global Manufacturing Operations and General Manager at Beckman Coulter Inc. He studied political science and government at Arizona State University which was in Japanese, Asian Studies. He also holds bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Nanzan. He resides in David, North Carolina. Robert also authors books on electronic and electricals and how they have moved beyond application to merely applying force to execute work. Production performance was enhanced by replacing what used to be manually done by the electronically controlled system.
